Create Don’t Hate Billboards
Under my coordination the Create Don’t Hate program started in Baltimore with a team collaboration between 30 volunteer graphic designers and 55 high school students. The project was supported by AIGA, Adobe, and Design Ignites Change part of Worldstudio in New York.
This program started in 2009. The end of the program was celebrated with 30 billboards at the gallery of Patapsco High School in February 2010 with guest speaker Mark Randall. Six out of thirty billboards were placed throughout the city in main highways. We were able to find funding $10,000 during Summer and Fall of 2010 through Clear Channel for this incredible project. Six Billboards were placed in 2010 in key highway locations around Baltimore. This project lasted approximately 2 years between 2009 and until the end of 2010.
